How To – Movie Looks: French Kiss

Standard

I’m going to skip over Immortality(come back to it in the Fall when it’s warmer) and go to French Kiss. Who can resist Kevin Kline as a repulsive French thief? Meg Ryan’s character, Kate, dresses like a man for the first half of the movie. Then her wardrobe transforms into that of a lady’s. My favorite part of the movie is the end scene where they are in the vineyard and she’s in this adorable 90’s floral dress.

It’s one of my all time favorite romantic comedies.

Apple: Pull in under the bust (at the smallest part of the waist). Use embellishments, lines and ruffles to pull attention up and away from the bust.

Column: Balance out a larger bust by putting emphasis on the hips.

Boy: Divided up the torso and pulled in at the waist. Created shape with sweetheart necklines, embellishments and ruffled skirts.

Hourglass: Always an emphasis on your tiny waist. Your top and bottom perfectly balanced.

Pear: Bringing attention to the bust to balance out the hips. Straight legs and straight skirts help to minimized the booty.

I hope this helps you to have a great start to your week!
