This really doesn’t have anything to do with Body Typing. My mother showed me this fun article in an AARP magazine. She thought I would like it. Like usual, she is right. It is titled “Style for the Advanced Ages” written by Jason Lawrence. It’s about Ari Seth Cohen and his new book Advance Style. It’s a photography book showing what he refers to as “style icons”. They’re older women in New York City. I must say, they do look fabulous!
Lawrence writes,” The book, due out May 22, presents Cohen’s best street shots of chic women and men. these head-turning style veterans boast both the elegant (white lace gloves and colorful pocket squares) and the eccentric (cat-eye sunglasses and fuchsia trousers).”
If you want a bit of a preview you can hop over to Cohen’s blog, also titled Advanced Style. You won’t regret it. I’m considering ordering it myself.
Happy Mother’s Day to all of you stylish mamas out there!
